A recap of Origami Risk’s January 2022 features update from Origamian, Ed Brill - Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

It’s a new year and with it brings a wealth of opportunity to expand our solution offerings from Origami Risk. Our team has been busy creating both exciting innovation and incremental improvement for the January 2022 Origami platform release.

Highlights of Origami’s January 2022 Release:

The January 2022 release included several new platform capabilities and updates across all market solutions. Additionally, this release focused primarily on dashboard enhancements, increased security permissions, and the roll-out of corporate policy and procedure management and occupational health.

General Updates:

  • Permissions Updates - Each admin link now has its own permission, and privacy access groups have been added to secure private claims, incidents, and loss events.
  • Reports and Dashboards - The Dashboard widget builder now offers conditional formatting on grid widgets, a "Show others" option for ranked widgets, additional chart types of Pareto and 100% Stacked, and widget specific drill columns. Dashboards can now be created for public and/or anonymous usage and shared via URL or QR Code.
  • Portal Incident Drafts - Reporters using the incident portal can now securely save and retrieve drafts by using a user-defined passcode.

Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS): Occupational Health was the big focus for EHS in this release. Offerings include: Industrial Hygiene Capabilities (including Similar Exposure Group (SEG) Management, Qualitative Exposure Assessments (QEA), and Sampling Plans & Events) and Ergonomics Capabilities (including assessments and dashboards). Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC): With this release, Corporate Policy & Procedure Management is now available from Origami Risk allowing clients to create, review and approve, and publish their company policies. 

Healthcare: A main focus for the Healthcare solution has been to augment the Safety Huddle capabilities. Enhancements include advanced search options, territory lookup, notes, tasks/actions, contacts, and files. 

Policy Administration: Main highlights of this release include auto renewal UI updates, ability to generate a packet for both proposal and policies without duplicating, export to excel for all named insureds, rating enhancements, and more.
