The Origami Risk System Administrator Certification is designed to validate the skills and expertise of those responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining their organization’s Origami Risk system. 

Earning the Origami Risk System Administration certification represents a commitment to excellence and demonstrates an ability to effectively manage the dynamic and complex topics System Administrators are responsible for.

How to Access the Exam

First and foremost, you must be a current Origami Risk user with access to the Learning Center to register for this certification.  Here are the steps to purchase the exam - 

1. Log in to the Learning Center via your Origami Risk dashboard
2. From the homepage, select the System Administration badge
3. On the System Administration page, scroll down until you see Origami Risk  System Administrator Certification Exam badge and select it
4. From here, you can purchase the exam via credit card when you are ready.

Exam Duration:	90 minutes
Delivery Options:	Online proctored environment (Note: Internet access, webcam, and microphone are needed)

Prerequisites:	There are no required prerequisites, however a hands-on experience working in the Origami Risk platform as a System Administrator as well as navigating the System Administrator badges in the Learning Center are highly recommended. Prospective candidates are expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of diverse System Administrator topics, along with demonstrable Origami Risk System Administrator experience on behalf of their respective organizations.

There are no prerequisites, however a hands-on experience working in the Origami Risk platform as a System Administrator as well as navigating the System Administrator badges in the Learning Center are highly recommended (but not required) to ensure candidates can effectively engage with the certification curriculum.

It is important to note that the certification encompasses a broad spectrum of subjects. These will potentially extend beyond the current operational scope of both the individual and their organization. Both the Origami Learning Center and Origami Help Center can help candidates gain the needed knowledge and skills for topics/functionality not currently utilized by an organization but are included in the certification exam.

Origami Risk strongly advocates for a holistic approach to preparation that includes a blend of practical on-the-job experience, completing relevant badges/courses in the Learning Center, and documentation in the Help Center. This comprehensive approach is instrumental in optimizing candidates' readiness and increasing their likelihood of successfully passing the certification exam.

Q: Are the courses in the Learning Center mandatory to take the certification exam?

No. Although recommended, the courses in the Learning Center are not required to take the certification exam.

Q: What is the best way for me to prepare for the certification exam?

We encourage you to utilize both the Origami Help Center and the Origami Learning Center to gain insights into topics relevant to the Origami Risk System Administrator certification.

The Origami Help Center and the Origami Learning Center can both be accessed directly by logging into Origami Risk.

Q: What technical requirements are needed for the online certification exam?

The following requirements are needed for the certification exam:

• Internet connection
• Camera (internal or external)
• Microphone

Q: How many questions do I need to answer correctly to achieve a passing score?

Passing scores are determined through statistical analysis and may undergo adjustments. Origami Risk refrains from disclosing specific passing scores due to the dynamic nature of exam content and the continuous refinement of test forms. As exam questions and standards evolve to align with updates in content, passing scores are likewise subject to change.

Q: What can I expect when I take the certification exam?

Our test delivery provider will conduct continuous monitoring and recording of your behavior for the duration of the exam. It is imperative that you take the examination independently, refraining from seeking or providing assistance to others. 

In the event of any technical malfunctions with the exam or the system, you are advised to promptly notify Origami Risk at learningcenter@origamirisk.com to detail the incident.

Q: Can I use any materials during the certification exam?

You can use any reference material to help you. This includes the Origami Risk system, the Origami Help Center, and the Origami Learning Center. You may not use other people to assist you with the exam.

Q: The AI proctoring system indicated that I did something that violated the proctoring policy. Does this disqualify me from the exam?

No. Origami Risk will review your proctored session and determine if further follow-up is needed.

Q: What happens if my online certification exam is interrupted or I experience technical issues?

If your exam session is interrupted, please try the following: 

1. Refresh your web browser to return to the exam.
2. Reconnect to the Internet and log back into the Origami Learning Center and follow your original instructions to access the exam.

If the steps above do not work, contact our team by sending an email to learningcenter@origamirisk.com. We will respond within 24-48 hours to help resolve the issue.

Q: Will I see preliminary exam results (pass/fail) on the screen upon completing my test?

Your exam results will be available within five business days after completing your exam. You will be notified via email once your exam results are available, and you will also be able to see your score in the Learning Center.

Q: Can I find out what questions I answered incorrectly on my exam?

No. To maintain the security and integrity of the exam, questions and answers won’t be made available.

Q: What happens after I pass the certification exam?

Upon successful completion of the certification, you will receive an email with your results. Additionally, Origami Risk will award you with a digital badge via Credly.

Q: How often are exams updated?

Origami Risk employs a systematic review and rotation of exam questions that align with the designated exam outline and scheduled release updates to the system.

Q: I passed the certification exam but still didn't get my digital certification badge. Where is it?

Representation of your achievement is a special part of this certification and gives you a way to let others know you are an Origami Risk Certified System Administrator!

Once you pass the certification exam, your new certification badge will be issued and available for you to accept in your Origami U user profile. You will also be sent a notification email from Credly (admin@credly.com) with instructions for accepting your badge and setting up a free Credly profile (if this is your first time accepting an Origami badge).

Then you can choose to share your badge and achievement on social media sites, your digital resume, or your email signature.

Q: What happens if I do not receive a passing score on the certification exam?

In the event that you do not successfully pass the certification exam, you will have the opportunity to retake it after a period of six months. The retake fee is $250 USD. There are no refunds.

Q: How long is the certification period before I have to renew?

Your Origami Risk System Administrator Certification is valid for three (3) calendar years from the date you successfully completed the certification exam. Note: Origami Risk is currently building out requirements for recertification. Please check back soon for more information.

Q: How do I request a testing accommodation?

Q: Will I be able to maintain my Origami Risk System Administrator certification if I no longer work at a company that uses Origami Risk?

Yes, you as an individual will retain your certification status for the 3 year period you achieved by passing the exam.  However, if you no longer work at a company that uses Origami Risk, you will be unable to access the Learning Center and re-certify if necessary. Access to the Origami Risk platform is required to access the Origami Learning Center.
