Thank you for joining part two of our REMS training day, where we’ll be talking about our end to end claims management within Origami Risk. My name is Trish Kelly, and we’re excited that you’ve joined us today. For the Solution Showcase, we’re going to demonstrate how organizations can manage their claims across all lines of coverage within Origami. Before we get started, a couple of quick housekeeping items. All participants are in listen only mode. If you do have questions, please feel free to use the Q and A button at the bottom of your screen, and we’ll take as many questions as we can after the demo. Be on the lookout for a for the recording of the solution showcase via email within the next seventy two hours. Today, I’m joined by Rosie O’Neil, our senior sales one of our senior sales executives at Origami, And now I will pass it over to Rosie to cover the demo. Hello, everyone. Thank you for joining this quick solution showcase on claims inside of Origami. One of the things that we find with all of our clients is that the ability to have visibility into that claims information is probably the thing that makes the most difference. So with that, I’m going to start on a dashboard, and then we’ll move into an actual claim itself. So at the top, we have the ability to create KPIs on anything inside of Origami so I can see how many claims are in litigation, what’s our total claim count for the last twelve months, how long is it taking us to report claims inside the system, and what’s our average claim cost. Then in the middle here, we actually say dashboards do two things in Origami. They tell you how you’re doing, so think of the KPIs, but they also help you with what you need to do. So what are the tasks that I need to follow-up on? Inside Origami? You can mark things as a favorite just by starring it, and you can actually star the claims that are the most active at the moment and then have visibility to them on the dashboard. And then right here, this is showing me frequency and severity year over year by line of coverage. So workers’ comp, GL and auto. This is what’s causing our losses. And then we have the ability to load exposure information and compare that to your claim totals so that you can actually see how your losses are trending based on your size. We do have the ability in origami to create views. And so this view is actually showing me my large losses, anything greater than one hundred and fifty thousand. And one of the things about origami in relation to claims is we have the ability to aggregate data from all of your data sources. So if you utilize a TPA now, but three years ago you had a different TPA, and before that you had a carrier involved, we can aggregate all that data together into one central repository and normalize it so that when you go to run reports, all that information is consistent. No two carriers use the same cause codes or body part codes. So then we can actually make that so it’s consistent. So when you run your reports, your information is better. So now I’m going to go into an actual claim. So I’m going to go up here under the claims. I’m going to go to all claim. You do have the ability to add claims yourself. So if there are any small claims that you’re paying directly, you can add those directly into the system yourself just to keep track of them. So now I’m going to the claims area. And here they are. And so I am going to see a listing of all the claims, all of your claims that have ever happened. On the right, you’ll see some options to basically filter that information. So I can filter by line of coverage if I want. I can do a percent sign and look for a particular person. So this is going to show me anything that contains the term Smith. I can search for that, and then basically that information would show up inside of the system. You then have the ability to save a view, which is like the filter option in Excel so that you just see the information that you want to focus on. You can even have a view of like these are the claims coming up for our claims review so that you could focus on them as you’re working towards that claims review. So I’m going to just go down to the recently viewed, and I’m going to pick Joe Smith. He is a workers’ compensation claim, but just so you know, we can handle any line of coverage. So we can do auto, auto physical damage, workers’ comp GL, like cargo claims, literally any line of coverage can be done and captured inside of Origami. So right now, we are on the claim record. A couple things to point out is you can have banners and alerts that make you aware of things at the top. So for example, I know this claim is in litigation, and we spent over fifty thousand. At the top, this is called a claim snapshot. It’s a newer feature in Origami, and it allows you to see a couple of key fields that you want to see right away when you log in to a claim, because we have a lot of details about the claim. So if I go here to the full details, I will see all of the fields that we can capture for this particular claim, and it’s pretty extensive. That’s why we came up with the snapshot. But just to point out a couple things, anything that is this bluish color is a hyperlink, and it will take you to another area of origami. So if I wanted to go see other claims that happen in Chicago, I could click on that link. Or if I wanted to see the occurrence view, inside origami, I can do that as well. So as I mentioned, we can aggregate all of your data from your TPAs and carriers into the system. So we can update this to be their claim number. But if you have your own internal claim number, you can actually capture both of those inside the system. One thing that’s unique about us is we do have the ability for you to store all your policies in the system, and we can then link the policy to the claim so that you can basically find out what was the effective date, the expiration date, what was the deductible, how much has been paid on the claim, how much got applied to the deductible, and what’s remaining. I can then have as much additional information as I want. So here we’ve got like the employee demographic information. We’ve got a body part diagram that tells me where the injury occurred. We have an integration with ODG that does benchmarking for particular claims. We can do that in a different call. This is a claim comparison report. So it’s comparing your data, so your claims to your claims, and so it’s looking for slip trips and falls that are workers’ comp. So Joe is at one hundred and twenty four thousand dollars Your average slip trip and fall is sixteen thousand So you can kind of see he’s a little bit higher. We do have the ability to capture OSHA information, and we can produce the OSHA three hundred, the 300A, and the three zero one directly out of the system. I can keep track of return, return to work information and then litigation details. There is a unique feature in Origami that allows you to grant access to outside counsel. So if you never ever need to get an update on a claim that’s in litigation, you can actually grant that attorney access and they can update that information in Origami for you. We do have the ability to do ISO fraud claim searches. And then down here we have the financials. The way that the financials work is we have seven different buckets. They vary by line of coverage. And again, if we’re getting a feed from your TPA or carrier, we’re going to update the reserves, the paid, the outstanding, and the incurred. You’ll see here the incurred formula selected is net incurred. It’s subtracting recovery and subrogation and adding all of the others. If I switch this to total cost, I can now find out if we didn’t have recovery and subrogation, how much would this claim cost. I can then have the transactional details, so every payment and reserve change that happened. And then over here on the right is the part where you can actually manage the claims. So you can have tasks or diary items to remind you of things that you want to do. You can have notes. So let’s say you had a conversation with a supervisor about the claim, you can have that you talk to, you know, the nurse about medical follow-up, you can capture capture all of that information inside of the same system. You also have the ability to email into and out of the system. So I can literally basically send an email to someone about this claim. And when you do that, if the track recipient replies is captured, then any response that they have will also go back. So you can have all of the communication related to the claim inside the system. And for any emails that you get outside of the system, you can forward them to an inbox that we give you. And in the subject, put the claim number, and Origami will automatically link that email to that particular claim. If there are attachments on that document, the attachment will sit up here with the email, but you have the option for it to go down here into the files so that you don’t have to scroll and find them. We also have contacts, and think of that like an online Rolodex. So who’s the attorney? Who’s the adjuster? Who’s their particular doctor? Who’s their physical therapist? Any of that. And then in Origami, you have the ability to attach as many documents as you want. So I can again have like witness statements, police reports, a claim acknowledgment letter, like a settlement letter, all of that can be captured inside of the system. And that’s a little bit of a high level overview of managing claims inside of Origami. All right. Thank you, Rosie. So we are now going to move into the Q portion. If you do have questions, please drop those in the Q and A box at the bottom of your screen. We’ll get to as many as we can. If we do not get to your question live, we will follow-up with you directly. In order to do that, please include your name instead of anonymous if you’d like to be followed up with. All right, Rosie. So first question, are the claim snapshots set up through custom forms or elsewhere? And can these be added by client user admins or does it have to be input by the Origami admin? Yep. So first, I’m so excited that there’s a suit there’s a system admin user on. But you can actually do that through the custom forms and it’s called a snippet And you add you create the snippet, and then you can add the snippet to the form. So for more instructions on that, I just suggest you contact your service team, and they can help you. Perfect. Alright. Next question. Can you talk a little bit about how the ISO search works? Yes. So the ISO search Front search is actually just an integration with ISO. So we actually just integrate with that and pull back the details. So it’s like a it’s it’s just an integration that happens inside of the system. Perfect. Alright. Can the Origami app be used to facilitate the input of data from council or other vendors? So the the mobile application is is basically mostly designed for the input of initial data. It’s not as much designed for editing information that is on the road map, but it’s not there now. But that grant access feature where you can actually grant them access and send them an email can be used for any of that. So you can send a link to that particular claim to an attorney or to a vendor, and they can provide additional information. Perfect. Quick follow-up on the ISO integration. Is that done automatically or is that based on a request a specific request for it? Yeah. So if I’m understanding that question correctly, basically, you initiate the ISO fraud search, and the integration is just something you’d work with your service team to say, hey. I’d like to set up the ISO fraud search. Perfect. Alright. Alright. Next question. Is the contacts I think this is the contacts field just for that specific claim or is it for all of the contacts in the system? So the contacts is literally like an online Rolodex. And so the contacts actually is universal across all of the claims in all of the areas of origami. So a really good example of that is if you use outside counsel and you set up the attorney, you then can basically link that attorney to multiple claims. And then if you’re talking to that attorney, you can go to them and basically, you know, say, alright, here’s my question, but since I have billable time, I’m gonna ask you a question about these two other things too. Perfect. Alright. If you have a workers’ comp carrier feed coming back into the system, is there a way to quickly identify all employees on workers’ comp that are off work? So that kind of depends on the data that we’re getting from that particular carrier or TPA. If they actually provide a field that says, you know, out on lost time, that’s an easy way to do it. If that’s not available, we can use something like, did they have indemnity payments or are they currently getting indemnity payments to figure out that they are out on lost time as well. But some of the vendors will actually or TPAs or carriers will provide that information, and that’s really the best way. You can also ask them to track it if they’re not currently tracking it too. Great. Can you talk a little bit about how the TPA is notified of the claim? What does that process look like? Yeah, we talked about that a little bit in the last solution showcase, but basically we have a feature inside Origami where incidents can be reported. And then if it’s something that needs to turn into a claim, what a lot of our clients do is they have someone look at it, and then they basically either mark off a field or we use some type of rule like, Hey, nine eleven was called. This to be reported. And then we send that through a secure flat file to that particular TPA or carrier, and then they can create the claim from that. And that data is encrypted, and they have the encryption key. Perfect. And then a follow-up question to that. How is that claims data from the carrier or the TPA? How is it updated? So then we would then get a feedback from that carrier TPA, and we can get that on a daily, weekly, monthly, annually, or one time and basically load that information in. And Origami’s claim data update tool is actually designed because when you create an incident, you don’t know the claim number. So it’s designed to actually merge those and find the matches. It’ll basically match those claims and it can update the claim number to the carrier or TPA’s number. All right. Is there a file path or a way that you could show how to use the self scheduled or diary system? And then are these tasks visible to all users with access to the file? So we we can’t really demo it right now, but that is definitely something that we can set up. We’re gonna actually give you some information about how you can request a demo or get additional information. So if you follow that link, you’ll be able to do that part. But to your question about visibility, that depends on the security access for each users. But, essentially, all users can see anybody’s tasks if you had if if you desire that to be, you know, the case. So I could go to the tasks area, and it starts off with, hey, this is Rosie’s task, but then I can switch it to all users, and then I can see tasks across the organization. Perfect. Alright. So we are just about at time. So unfortunately, we can’t get to all of the questions live. But again, if you did have a question that we were not able to address, if you can use your name, have it posted in the Q and A and we will follow-up with you directly. If you want to learn more about origami or the incident management solution that we went over today, you can go to origamirisk dot com there to explore or request a demo, as Rosie mentioned, or feel free to shoot us an email at infoorigamirisk dot com. And then lastly, we wanted to invite you to register for our next REMS training day. This is taking place next Thursday, December twelfth. We’ll have two back to back solution showcases again, the first one covering certificate of insurance handling, and then the second one will be on values and exposure collection. So please make sure to register for both individually if you plan on attending both sessions, and you can do that with the QR codes here on the screen. So we thank you guys so much for joining today. Hope to see you next week and have a great rest of your day and week.
