Origami Learning Center

July 1, 2025

The Origami Learning Center provides access to an on-demand, self-service content library where System Administrators can access various courses, earn badges, and receive certifications as proficient users of Origami Risk. The course library features interactive e-learning modules covering a variety of relevant topics. Each course is carefully constructed using a proven adult-learning framework that follows a “read it, see it, try it” model in which you will learn to:

  • Work Smarter, Not Harder. Develop the skills to be more efficient in the Origami Risk platform, tackle new projects head-on, assess and resolve requests faster, and be more strategic in your day-to-day.
  • Drive ROI. As a more efficient user, you can spend more time on meeting your goals, executing successful programs, and driving return on investment for your organization.
  • Invest in Yourself. Boost your resume and career by becoming certified in the leading risk, insurance, and safety management solutions in the marketplace.
  • Demonstrate your expertise. Add course badges and certifications to your LinkedIn profile to showcase your advanced skillset to your professional network.

Microlearning

If you don’t want to go through an entire badge and just want to learn a specific topic, you can do so through Microlearning. All learning modules are available unbundled from each badge so you can take 1,350+ courses for targeted and specific topics on your own time. This allows for just-in-time access to a specific topic with the “read it, see it, try it” pieces. As you complete these microlearning courses, your progress is being tracked towards completing the badge!

Learning Center FAQ

Q: Is there a difference between the Origami Help Center and the Origami Learning Center?

A: Yes! The Origami Help Center is our online help and release note documentation repository with knowledge articles and will be the home for our release notes. As stated above, the Learning Center is a library of e-learning video courses and badges you can earn dedicated to teaching you how to use the system with the option to take a final certification exam after completing each course and badge. To put it one way, the Help Center is your “textbook” to supplement the Learning Center courses and exams.

Q: When will the Certification Exams be available and what will they look like?

A: Our first exam — the System Administrator Certification Exam — is now available! It is an online multiple-choice exam accessible and proctored through the Learning Center. It consists of 70 questions and will take approximately 2 hours to finish. When new certifications become available, we will let you know via email. Please click here for more information

Q: Will I need to pay to take the Certification Exams?

A: Yes. If you have access to the Learning Center, you will be able to purchase the Certification Exams directly from the Learning Center via credit card. The System Administrator exam costs $500 per user. Once available, other certification exams will range from $100 – $500 in cost. Once you have received certification, you will need to renew it every 3 years.

Q: Do I have to complete all courses and badges to take the System Administrator Certification Exam?

A: You are encouraged to complete all badges prior to taking the exam, however that is not required and they do not need to be completed in any order.

Q: How long does it take to earn a badge?

A: It varies. Each badge comes with a set number of topics you must take to earn it. Topics average a run time of 30 minutes. This information should give you a good estimate of the amount of time it will take to earn a badge.
