Jess Li is a strategy professional with insurance underwriting experience in the technology, cyber, and E&O space. As Origami Risk's Corporate Strategy Manager, she is responsible for designing strategy content and defining the process, methods, and tools for future growth strategy.
Jess joined Origami in July of 2021 and brings a unique mix of strategy, underwriting, and analytical experience to develop forward-looking, long-term strategic plans. Prior to joining Origami, Jess worked as a Strategy Analyst for Zurich North America and developed growth and business strategic plans for the various Zurich business units. Additionally, she worked with the team to develop market intelligence and strategic materials for senior management. Jess also spent 3 years with CNA Insurance as a Technology, Cyber, and E&O Underwriter, specializing in middle-market technology companies. Jess graduated from the CNA Underwriting Trainee program in November of 2016 and managed a $20M book of business focused on the Chicagoland area.
Jess received her bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2016.
