Anooja Cannon is a skilled business professional with over ten years of experience in the healthcare and insurance industries. As a Senior Market Strategy Lead at Origami Risk, Anooja brings a proven track record and passion for process innovations, leadership, customer focus, and technical prowess to further enhance Origami’s Healthcare solution offering and market presence.
Anooja previously worked as a Senior Client Executive at Origami Risk. In that role, she focused on the implementation of new projects, provided ongoing support services, and delivered innovative solutions for clients. Prior to joining Origami, Anooja worked as a Manager of Medicaid Business Development at Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), where she developed and executed on a collaborative model to increase Medicaid quality performance measures (HEDIS performance) across the enterprise. She also led the development of a winning response to New Mexico state’s request for proposal (RFP) for the re-procurement of their Medicaid managed care program. In her previous work, Anooja held various positions of increasing responsibility at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System (UI Health), where she implemented and oversaw various enterprise-wide projects to help provide enhanced patient care and safety.
Anooja also serves as adjunct faculty at Loyola University Chicago in the Healthcare Administration undergraduate program, where she teaches the Healthcare Data Analytics course. She holds a master’s degree in Health Systems Management from Rush University, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago (Go Ramblers!). Anooja is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
