Implementations
Implementations of nine months or longer are common at many RMIS vendors. Origami Risk includes our easy-to-use and comprehensive System Administration tools that eliminate the need for “custom solutions”, which is another way of saying “expensive and slow”, offered by other vendors.
Origami Risk has a unique implementation methodology that emphasizes speed and flexibility. Our methodology is designed for a small and focused team of our most experienced colleagues; an approach that that cuts thousands of dollars of expense and saves months from implementation projects by minimizing the knowledge loss from multiple handoffs.
Training
Client training needs vary widely. Some clients have many distributed users and others have fewer users who are all full time risk management, claims, or safety professionals. Some clients use most of the features of Origami Risk and others use just a few. We customize training to meet the way that you plan to use the system.
We use a wide variety of tools and approaches to training. Typically the System Administrator is trained through a combination of in person training and working with the Origami Implementation team. With Origami's easy to use implementation tools, we help administrators take part in their own system design in a practical combination of training and implementation.
Additional training of groups of people can be done either in person or by webinar. We suggest multiple shorter training sessions rather than a single marathon session because it leads to much better knowledge retention. Trainings are recorded for later reuse.
Training should not be a one time event. To stay current on the latest features and to reinforce existing skills, Origami will schedule brief periodic webinars to make sure all clients are getting the most out of the system.
Service Model
We believe that a dedicated team of RMIS experts with a backup for emergencies is the best approach for RMIS support. A dedicated team gives our customers someone who knows you and your team, the nuances of your data and insurance program, and how you use the system.
You have a wide variety of ways to contact your support team – email, work and cell phone numbers, and Instant Messaging for quick questions, and the support team can be reached between 6AM and 10PM CT.
Data Updates
Most RMIS vendors take several days to process a data update. Straight through processing technology automates the update process effectively lowering the cost and reducing the time and manual steps to complete a typical update. With Origami Risk, typical updates are usually measured in minutes rather than days.
We support data updates from all insurance companies and third party adjusters and accept updates to refresh your claims data and adjuster notes as often as you require.
In Origami, data updates are not just a black box. Clients have access to manage the business rules and exceptions related to processing risk data, reducing the need for support hours and delays in completing data updates.
In addition to claims, we have integrated updates for other risk data including locations, employees, vehicles, exposures, values, policies, programs, users, codes, and more. We support uploading data using a variety of data file types including spreadsheets.
